Shipping and Terms of Sale
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.
Currency
All prices quoted in Australian Dollars.
Duties & Taxes
The paintings for sale on our web do not attract GST as our artists are not GST registered. When shipping paintings overseas, the purchaser is liable for any other duties or taxes payable specific to the country of import.
Payment Methods
Hopevale Arts & Culture Centre accepts Visa, Mastercard and direct bank transfer.
Direct bank transfer: Please contact us for details. Ensure that the payment description includes your name and invoice number.
All transactions will be debited/credited via Hopevale Arts & Culture Centre’s Bank Account.
All information received from customers relating to payment details is strictly confidential.
Artworks are posted once payment has been confirmed.
Provenance
Hopevale Arts & Culture Centre guarantee all work shown is authentic and the original work of the artist/s named. Artworks are accompanied by an Artwork Certificate and Artist Biography.
Postage and Packing
All purchases are sent via Australia Post (registered) on a weekly basis. We make every effort to dispatch artwork as quickly as possible. However, specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed. Please keep in mind that you are purchasing artwork from a remote community. Delays can occur during the wet season due to road closures.
National (within Australia)
Parcels under 5kgs $35AU per package.
Parcels over 5kgs start $45AU per package.
International
Small to medium packages under 5kgs $65AU per package
Parcels over 5kgs start at $85AU per package.
Limitation of Liability
Unless otherwise stated, the artworks sold in accordance with these terms and conditions are sold without warranties or representations of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law the liability of Hopevale Art & Culture Centre for the sale of any artwork shall be limited to the sale price of the artwork.
Applicable Laws
These Terms and Conditions are subject to laws applicable in Queensland, Australia.
